The 2008 Alaska state legislature has made significant investments in the university including fixed costs and new program funding. The legislature has also provided funding for the repair and maintenance of buildings, $46 million for the UAA Health Sciences Building, and $15 million for planning and site preparation for an athletic facility at UAA.
We are pleased to bring you the latest in conceptual plans and for the athletic facility. Feel free to send questions, comments and suggestions to us. UAA is you University and we want to keep you up to date on our progress and invite your input.
Your help is needed. Please send an e-mail message to the governor asking for her support of the UAA capital projects and the repair and maintenance funding in the operating budget.

The UAA Alumni Association will be hosting their annual Graduate Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday, April 24 in the Den (located in the Student Union Building) from 11:30 - 1:00 P.M. This FREE lunch is hosted by the UAA Alumni Association.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors, learn about activities and programs available as a member of the Alumni Association including:
· Use of Career Services
· Alumni rates at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex and Seawolf Athletic ticket discounts for alumni
· Outdoor Equipment Rental
· UAA/APU Consortium Library Access
· Networking and Volunteer Opportunities
You will also receive tips on how to stay involved in UAA, how to be a great Seawolf ambassador for future students and more!
